The Ottawa Valley Astronomy and Observers Group (OAOG) welcomes everyone!
Whether you are a novice astronomer with simple binoculars, or a seasoned astronomer with a
large fully-computerized telescope, feel free to grab a friend and join us at our star parties,
gabfests and observing outings.
Joining OAOG is absolutely free, and has many rewards! All it really takes is a simple
interest in astronomy and observing, and you're in! If you don't have a telescope, there are
always observers who will be happy to share their equipment. Also, we are pleased to offer a
Telescope Rental Program. However, much of the beauty of the night skies can be best
appreciated by using nothing more than the eyes alone.

questions about telescopes and equipment? How about general discussions geared toward both
the beginning and advanced observers? You would like to know when we will have our next sessions and star parties?

We invite you to join the OAOG's discussion group provided by Yahoo!Groups. Because many of our
activities and observing outings are impromptu (due to unexpected or rapidly changing weather), this is by
far the best way to stay tune...
Signing up to our discussion group is as easy as filling the above field with your email address.
Upon joining, you will receive a notification by email to confirm your subscription to the OAOG list.
The OAOG yahoogroup has many advantages. It will allow you access to some useful features such as members'
address book, buy-sell-trade section, poll feature and more! To gain access to these features, you will also
need to create a YahooID and password.
